| Robin Graves discovered that the family he buried was the Roseboro Family a family that no one knew much about. They were quiet and law abiding. They were all murdered on October 17, 1845 and no one was ever caught for the heinous crime. After finishing the construction of the Hotel early in the year 1923, he opened for business. Being the only Hotel in the area had its advantages. But shortly after opening many of his guests started to complain about strange dark figures walking the hallways. Other guests heard noises coming from the kitchen late at night. Many guests simply just disappeared never to be seen or heard from again. Of course, this was bad for The Black Raven Hotel. Soon no one dared to stay in the Hotel. Fear overtook Robin Graves and he left town. He left the building abandoned. The building stayed abandoned until 1988, when a young man from Detroit Lakes, Minnesota bought the building. Since 1988 The Black Raven Hotel has been opened every October for new guests to come in and decide for themselves, if this place is really haunted by the Roseboro Family. So come in this October and discover for yourself if The Black Raven Hotel is haunted!! |
